What the Mountain Hid
Nestled in the shadow of a mysterious mountain, adorned with a lighthouse and an impenetrable bunker, the quaint town of Chiffon Ridge has been peacefully rebuilding. A Protection Agency guards the town against marauders who seek to unlock the mountain, lured by the promise of treasure. However, the greatest threat doesn’t stem from these vagabonds. It is the mysterious arrival of a teenage girl from the sky that threatens to destabilize their delicate existence and unveil secrets long buried within the mountain.
The Disc of Truth
A young boy, Ethan Drayce, is sent on a quest by his dying father to deliver an ancient technological artifact known as the Disc of Aetherion to his father’s old friend Cedric Frost, but encounters danger and intrigue along the way as he gets caught up in a plot to use the disc to expose the true intentions of the authoritarian leader and prevent an impending war. Alongside new allies like Cedric’s daughter Sierra, Ethan must navigate shifting loyalties and power struggles to complete his mission and return home.

Out of fear for a worldwide catastrophe, wealthy and privileged individuals fled Earth 300 years ago aboard enormous spaceships. This event was called the Great Evacuation. Whether or not the Ancients ever reached their destination, Earth II, is unknown.

In the aftermath, small societies have begun to emerged. In some places, Protection Agencies are hired to provide security services in an essentially lawless world. Other places have organized in cooperation communes. And a few kings have established fiefdoms through brute force.

Unearthing Ancient technology from before the Great Evacuation has created a frenzy similar to a gold rush, making some individuals exceedingly rich. This fervor has also led to the emergence of marauders who pillage towns to seize recovered technology.
